🌈 Rainbows + Shamrock ☘ projects + QuiltCon RecapHello friends! Happy MARCH! Woohoo. I love March. My first round of crocus flowers have officially bloomed and that makes me so happy. Spring is finally on it's way (even if it's in fits and starts). If you're in need of some cheery sewing projects to get you through until the spring weather officially arrives to stay, I've put together a list of Rainbow + Shamrock sewing and quilting projects from a bunch of different quilters and designers. There's a variety of styles, project sizes, and difficulty levels to choose from. Everything from full quilts to quick mini's, blocks or pouches and gift ideas. Click Below for the full list!
A Review of Quilt Con 2025! (Plus a Giveaway!)As I mentioned last week, I attended the Quilt Con event hosted by the Modern Quilt Guild in Phoenix, Arizona. (Ahh! Warm sunshine!) This week I put together recaps on Instagram and my blog where you can get a look at some of the inspiring quilts and people that were there! Have you ever been to QuiltCon? Were you there this year? (Big thanks to those who were and came and said "Hello!") I've also got a giveaway to share, thanks to Riley Blake Designs! Click below to see the QuiltCon highlights and enter to win!

Check out this delightful article from A Spoonful of Sugar about collecting vintage notions, trims, buttons, etc. How adorable is this Hexie purse pattern from Charise Creates? For everyone who's been waiting with baited breath, wondering if I finished the quilty sweatshirt I was working on last week, good news! I did! And I wore it on my only full day at Quilt Con. Mine was definitely not the fanciest of quilt-embellished, handmade wardrobe items (there were some absolute stunners!). Garment sewing is not my strong point - but! I did feel proud that I'd made something. And I carried my Albion tote bag around too. I felt extra fancy repping my own fabrics. 🥰 Here's the current pile/fabric pull on my sewing table (on the right). I came home with a couple of pretty Easter-y bundles from vendors at QuiltCon and I'm totally in the mood to make a scrappy spring quilt! I'm still working on deciding what pattern I want to use, but I *think* I've narrowed it down. Itching to start cutting and stitching asap! I'll share more next week. Stay tuned! When I got home, I officially took down all of the winter decor in my house. After Christmas I leave some red decor and quilts up through February, but this past week I was just ready for it to go and to bring out all things spring! This pastel quilt is definitely part of that vibe that I'm feeling. As always, thanks so much for stopping by.
