And I couldnβt have St. Patrickβs Day post with out sharing my Irish Flags quilt I made for a special baby boy. If you're new here, you can read the story behind this one here. It's a bittersweet story, but sentimental to me. I can't believe it's been 16 years since I made this quilt! For those who do remember that story, here's a happy update. A year ago we randomly ran into that boy and his family (who also live in Utah now) at a basketball game! It always makes my heart happy to see those Irish eyes and every time I do, I want to squeeze this kid as hard as I can and tell him how much he reminds me of his spunky mom. March is being March over here. Which some days means "spring is here!" But also means, "just kidding! It's going to snow and be 32 degrees outside today!" like it was at our house this weekend. (I know it's been even worse in some parts of the US this weekend. I hope this finds you all safe!) Still, hope for warmer temperatures is on the horizon. I hope you have fun celebrating whatever excites you most this weekend, whether it's National Quilting Day, wearin' a little green πon Monday, or just more daylight hours. Woohoo!
